KPFF believes that engineers should be able to practice with a minimum of organizational restriction. Design Engineer (Approximately 0-5 years experience)
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering with a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred. Solid technical and communication skills are a must. Design experience in concrete, steel, masonry and wood are all a plus. Design engineers will have the opportunity to work on various project types and sizes such as; healthcare, education, housing/hospitality, airports, commercial, ports/harbors and seismic analysis and retrofit.

Project Manager (Approximately 5 or more years experience)
Ideal candidates will possess all the attributes of the Design Engineer described above. The Project Manager will ideally possess a Professional Engineer (Civil) license, and may possess a Structural Engineer license. The Project Manager will ideally be capable of running the types of projects listed above with the assistance of other staff members. The Project Manager will also be capable of interfacing directly with the client, design team consultants, contractors and other professionals who are part of the design process.
